There are two major world-wide maritime exhibitions,
one of which is “Posidonia” being held in Athens, Greece,
and another is “Nor-Shipping” being held at Oslo, Norway.
These two exhibitions alternately take place every year.

place their booths in these exhibitions, and many people

This year, 1,859 companies from 87 countries participated
in the “Posidonia 2010” and presented their booths, which
attracted over 18,000visitors.
As a member of the Japan Ship Exporters’ Association,
we, Imabari Shipbuilding Group, together with other Japanese
shipyards, participated to the exhibition, and our President
Mr. Higaki himself attended to our booth, having eagerly
explained our activities to the visitors.
During the exhibition, we have successfully made presentation
of our advanced new ship design, using model ship, photo-panels
and plasma-TV, to the European ship owners from Greece,
Norway and other various overseas countries. Through such
presentation and parties, we believe that we could appeal
superiority of the quality of Japanese products and technologies,
especially those of our own.
